From now debating whether to start a career with Farmers Insurance. You are very excited at the thought of owning your own business. What a wonderful opportunity. How can you start your own business in the U.S. for almost no money? Your District Manager has told and shown that there is no better opportunity in America that a Farmers Insurance Agency to develop their own small business. And be paid a subsidy of up to $ 1,500 per month for expenses. As an amazing deal!
Please keep an open mind, and read for yourself what a former agent for two years has to say about Farmers. At the end of this article I have links to the documentation that I have exceeded my quota, was an arduous and successful agent, yet ended up being fired from Farmers Insurance.
The group of farmers of the company are in fact a pyramid scheme or Ponzi scheme, where only administrators and district heads of the company make money agents only get knocked down, and I will explain to you how this happens.
Of course, there are few agents in each district who are successful and are doing six numbers your District Manager is promising he will do, but these agents are just "pieces of the show. Farmer's requires that in order for you to make a booking agent "for a career agent" which fits 30 or 40 clients (as in your contract). These 30 or 40 clients are often friends and family, because they are easier to persuade people to sign up. Then once they turn to an agent career, I say the world can be yours. Here is where the pyramid scheme.
For me, within three months, I had become a career agent and went very well. That had brought in over $ 125,000 in Premium Business new to farmers. Within six months he had brought in over $ 225,000 the National Bank of Poland. 75 hours a week I put in my body, at the suggestion of my District Manager, I took my life savings in my agency. The District Manager said that for every dollar it spends on marketing, I'd get two dollars to the recovery of investment would be receiving. Needless to say that this return investment was not true, and now I'm broke and on the verge of bankruptcy.
Just see how your District Manager react when they question about "running the numbers of summer" have to do. This fee is almost impossible to achieve, and if not get it, you must return entire subsidy that farmers gave you! Farmers is a pyramid scheme because the business receives its 30 or 40 friends and family that you have registered, then slowly squeeze the life from you until end broke and you have to return them.
I'm not just some dead beat who could not cut. As I said before, I have documented, proven record of my sales. Farmers set their agents for failure. This way of making more money, because they have to pay commission to the agent. The only enriching themselves are responsible for the District and company executives such as Tom Hopkins.
Do not go to become an agent of Farmers Insurance, RUN as fast as you can. I swear that eventually you will make more money flipping burgers at McDonalds.
I spent $ 2,000 per month in advertising on the suggestion my District Manager, I hit my sales quota and I am indebted to the farmers more than $ 6,000, and brought more than $ 250,000 of premium to them. In the end, I spent more than $ 18,000 trying to grow my agency, and now I farmers $ 6,000! I think I would agree that this is not is a wonderful "opportunity.
