Aviva Life Insurance Surrender Value
Aviva life insurance premium can take one more when the delivery of policy and not offer insurance?
I decided to give up my universal Aviva insurance life when I realized it was a big mistake. Each year, my insurance cost is increasing and is undermining the cash value. I called the company and they I said I wanted to give up politics. After trying to talk to me in maintaining that finally told me what to do and sent me the forms. He sent me back and received the check and realized that took another premium in respect to the cash value of 4 August and canceled the policy of August 6. The premium of 4 August were filled me until Sept. 4, but I say they have no coverage as of Aug. 6. They refuse to return the premium I took $ 137 in August, $ 4 for what they paid 137 for two days insurance. Anyone know if this can be done? If this is legal, then any insurance company can only delay the processing of delivery until after the premium by date and collect the premium from another month without coverage. Thanks in advance for any help.
It sounds as if deliberately delayed the processing of the surrender so they could get a higher premium. They just are not that hard-money. The premiums people were doing their job to maintain its policy programming and would have no way of knowing the delivery was coming until the form is processed by a separate department. If you were working with an agent or representative thinking customer service, which would have required freezing the account until they receive the form, very rare.
