What are the costs and actions to start a new business?
I'm trying to open a new office that offers insurance / notary / real estate services and kind of wondering what are my steps in opening a new business. Books, magazines and seminars that will teach me more about this? or perhaps personal experiences put me in the right direction. Please, people appreciate all the comments of one of their own. Thanks

I think the best way to find people who are already doing business but what you aspire or close to it. You can check the local yellow pages or the local Chamber of Commerce website. Contact these people, at least three where appropriate, and ask them to mentor, or at least allow you to treat them to lunch and making calculations. It is advisable to work for someone who is properly doing what I want do in order to gain a better understanding of that world. You may find that the business is not very profitable or pleasant, and save money in the long term. Or, you may realize that this is a pot of gold and all you need do is young in the system. In any employment in the field and contact with business leaders on it, is the way to follow.
