California Insurance Commissioner Complaints

Travel Insurance Fraud, Do not Let It Happen To You
The California Insurance Commissioner has ordered Trip Assured to stop doing business in the state of California. This Tennessee-based travel insurance company apparently defrauding companies. But the journey of Insured stated that what they were selling in California was not travel insurance. The Commissioner denied his application from what they were selling could easily fall into the category of insurance or definition. Travel Insured s main objective is marketing the elderly.
California decided to take action once noted that other states such as Michigan, Texas, Florida and North Carolina were taking similar actions against Trip Assured. After further research, Trip Assured denied 30 claims in California and there were 76 complaints against them (in the last 36 months) with the Better Business Bureau (BBB). However, the BBB states that those claims were addressed by Travel Insured while presenting claims would disagree with that assessment of the situation. There are other travel insurance companies have claims against them which is unfortunate, because the travel insurance industry is growing rapidly, especially for expensive vacation trips. The BBB in Tennessee has been withdrawn (Travel Insured) membership – One would think that would mean something since the company is headquartered in Tennessee.
Here is an example of one of the claims made against the Insured Trip. Sylvia Resnick is a senior who book a trip to Europe just for her, as well as a cruise, while in Europe. Travel Insured purchased through your local travel at the time of booking the trip. It had taken a long time to save for that holiday would be "the trip of a lifetime." During the holidays, suffered severe back injuries and had to cancel the cruise. As soon as he got home he saw his doctor and get a doctor's note that said he could not continue with the cruise due to injury. As required by the policy that sent this note to the trip awaiting Insured granted in accordance with the terms of the agreement. Came as a total shock when it denied her claim and therefore not return your money.
There are two questions here. The first is why an insurance company which is supposed to satisfy customers older it through this? The second question is how could the BBB view this situation (And situations like this) as the result of a successful outcome?
