Standing the cost of a car accident in front of motor insurance claims?
My son recently had a car accident, we intend to bear the cost of a replacement car (insurance premium shall be increased by £ 2,000 for the following year). Do we have to inform the insurance company the accident and if we will this have an impact on insurance that was taking into account the cost and did not call? The current insurance company does not appear willing to answer the question completely and independent insurance agent was also unhelpful. Please help!
