13 May 2007 - ENGLISH UP-DATE

Hey everyone! I've being trying to find the time to translate this blog, sorry it has taken so long.

I'll start explaining what I'm doing for those who don't really know. In september last year I went to a school at the University of the Nations in Kona, Hawaii, this school prepares people in the area of missions (with a lecture phase and a outreach phase).  

I'm staffing this same school but with a focus in photography. Our job is to teach how to use photography  for God and disciple students. The University of the Nations is a missioner university so each staff has to find there own support (salary) as a missioner. 

From April to August I'll be working with PhotogenX DTS, some of my responsibilities are teaching photography, organize local outreaches, intersetion, supervise students work duties, announcements, small group, one on ones, and other things that come up as we go. We also have to be present for the lectures so we can know what the students are going trough and help them in there walk through this DTS. It's a full time job!!

So since I got back form outreach (Tonga, you can see some pics on the entry of the 28 of april), I've being in a staff training, with a 3 week internship and then a 2 week general staff training (see pic of the entry of the 30 of April).

It has being a great adventure, the responsibility that God has given us as staff is big. We have the power to impact the lives of these students in a positive or a negative way; it is up to us to make the right decision. This is where your prayers come to play a super important roll!!
