Commercial Insurance General Liability

I would like to learn about insurance?
I am currenlty working for an insurance company that specializes in insurance for commercial accounts. Am the receptionist, so I really do not do much. I would like more responsibility, but we do not respect without a liscense. My boss paid for my classes I do not know anything about insurance. From what we hear deal with general liability, fiduciary responsibility, d & o workers' compensation, life, car commercial y. We also have a dental department. Before getting into my classes I would like to know the basics there is a place online that can help me, or a book that can pick up somewhere? Thanks for the help guys.
Get your license immediately. Go to the classes that your boss will pay. They are pretty easy. Since his company handles both P & C and Life, tell them you want to get both licenses. This will make you more valuable. I think I did my studies through Dearborn, but there several good companies to use.
