Computer Insurance Coverage
How does a health insurance company information on their coverage of another?
I know there is a computer system they use to search the dictionary. What is the system call and how far can look up? (Health insurance coverage for 5 or 10 years?
It is the Medical Information Bureau (MIB). They do not have everyone in the database, but have been around for 100 years, so I guess could go back that far. However, insurance companies usually only go back 10 years to the most important conditions, except for conditions minor.
