What right (if any) do I have to pay the employer mandate, health care in Los Angeles, California?

In order to avoid paying me the benefits (ie health care), my employer is ending after seven consecutive months of full-time job. Our manual employee states that any full-time employee is eligible to receive benefits after six months of full time employment, but the paperwork takes about thirty days to be processed by the health care provider so my employer squeezed an extra month of work outside prodiving I was not insured.
