pregnancy is a pre-existing condition?

I'm trying to get pregnant and my husband added me to their health insurance. If I get pregnant before he is able to add to me, who pay for the pregnancy is considered a pre-existing condition

Absolutely not, it is illegal to consider pre-existing condition. Just to clarify my answer … I was pregnant and added to certain of my husband and then asked the same thing. The head of my company's Human Resources says it is illegal for pregnancy should be considered a preexisting condition. This is from my HR REP! My husband's insurance covered me 100% without any problem.
