Homeowners Insurance Credit Check
Can my home loan be lowered about 400 dollars?

I can’t afford it anymore. Im almost 2 months late, and can’t afford the payments. If they lowered it about 400 we would be fine. Is this asking too much? Or should we just go into foreclosure? I don’t want to explain my whole story on here…again because it is a long one!! lol
I bought the place one year ago for 145,500. They said it was appraised for 170,000, now the same townhomes are selling for 100,000. I don’t even know how I got approved for the loan..my loan consultant said that it was in my budget, but then I realized they did not even check my credit or anything. I have a 10/30 loan..interest, taxes and homeowners insurance only for the first ten years. I now pay 1280 per month not including my HOA fees. It was 1080 when I moved in, but they raised it saying they made a miscalculation when we bought the place. We have a fixed rate.
my interest rate is 7.4 percent

Get a lawyer that specializes in bankruptcy and foreclosure. Sometimes they can negotiate for you. If not, the lawyer will protect you as much as possible. Even though you don’t have $, see a lawyer anyway. It is most important that you have professional legal advice on this matter. Good luck.
