Similarly with security features: if your car doesn’t come with an alarm system but you have added one, then you might have something deducted from the price of the insurance.

Any insuring agreement has to be less costly if you increase your deductible.
There are many more factors than the above that will enable you to get the best possible deal, and if you know how to go about it, and are consistent in the information you provide to the various companies, you should be successful. Another secret is to choose the companies that you intend to use carefully and get a cheap car insurance quote from as many as possible. The internet makes it easy to compare a large number of insurers, and you should also be able to get help from price comparison and review sites.
