Michelle, as a licensed insurance producer, I cannot blemish a carrier. But, I can strongly suggest for you to shop around. In the event of an accident, I have never had even an ok claim response from them. I represent over 100 various insurance carriers. They are an option to provide; but, not an option that I would want to put my client with. Sometimes financially a client of mine will choose it. But, I will always provide alternative options, so that I do not lead a client of mine in that direction.
Majority of all my clients want to be covered for everything; but, they do not want to pay for it. That is the challenge of insurance. In honest opinion (and personal insurance company I am insured with) Progressive hands down is the all around carrier to be with. 24/7 Access, Online Access, Claims, Customer Service, Coverage Options. Plus, Progressive has a second program known as Drive Insurance, in CA. Which provides more of a flexible program for younger/unfortunate drivers.
I am licensed in CA, and could be able to look at your options, if you choose to. Regardlessly,you should research your present insurance situation though.
