Life Insurance Blood Test Alcohol

Can Saliva Tests’ test for Cholesterol and blood pressure?
I just bought a life insurance policy from a friend and when I read the policy that just arrived, it said I was rated “standard”. They only took a Saliva swab from me which I would assume could only check for Tobacco and Alcohol.
I am 28, Male, Never smoked in my life, Normal Blood pressure, low cholesterol, no bad family medical history, I’ve never had any illneses, 6′0″, 185 lbs, and I don’t do any dangerous activities.
I’m surprised that I only qualified for “standard” when there are 3 higher classifications????
Generally speaking a saliva test is only done on small face amount life insurance policies and the best they issue is Standard. If you would apply for a higher amount the insurance company would request a full blood panel and urine test. Because I am assumine you have a small amount the best you will get is a standard rate. Generally speaking at 100,000 the extra tests are done.
PS Saliva tests for Tobacco, illegal drugs and AIDs
