The claims for life insurance death in a temporary policy – can deny a claim?
My father died on 29 March, an attack heart (no history). In January, requested and paid their insurance premium long term for the first time in the life of London. The sales rate is not always your questions medical, the wine made the announcement Paramed, blood etc., and the "temporary coverage" was in place, pending the supplements. co. to make your decision. temp. form coverage criteria listed as only 4 ways to cancel coverage. 1. the applicant lied about the medical questions. (no) 2. The applicant cancels (not) 3. The policy of full entry into force or will expire in 90 days time coverage (less than 30 passed) 4. London Life denied coverage – but even so ineffect is for 2 days after the notice given. Based on this information plain English, tells me they have no choice but to pay. Have PPL sure there was a death claim for temporary coverage? Please help as Lon. Life is give the impression they are looking for a loophole for stop paying.
So sorry about your loss. I am a Broker (not an agent), so you can not access applications from the life of London. However, Canada Life is owned by Great West / London Life, and usually use the same form (more or less). I took the life of the application form Canada to review the TIA. Went coverage of his father more than $ 5M? Or was it over 71? or was a group of individual life insurance conversion? If so, then they can deny. Payment TIA death benefits could not be more than $ 1M. But based on what you wrote, and assuming you paid the first month's premium with the application life, then should be covered. If you have a problem, talk with your agent. Otherwise, contact the Canadian Life and Health Assoc. Consumer Support Line at http://www.clhia.ca/e7_2.htm
