Nicotine does appear in the urine if chew Nicorette?
My husband had to take a physical for our new life insurance policy and was positive for nicotine in their urine. He said he had a cigarette in the past year (August), but still chew Nicorette on a regular basis. This test are positive only in this gum?
Yes Nicorette has the same type of nicotine from cigarettes, and is absorbed into your body when you chew (to keep on the side of the mouth for a while so that the nicotine is absorbed into the gums / cheek). Definitely will give a positive result on a test of nicotine, especially if you are using it regularly.
