Life Insurance Online Application
Can my employer change my job description?
I work for Legal & General. A few months ago we were notified that the descriptions work had changed. This continued for most unotice by staff and there was no immediate impact to our jobs. Now a new software work and the application system is roled out and suddenly we are being pressured to sell. I've worked here for 3 years and so far all he had to do was drive customer inquiries and applications w life insurance deal. Now we are being assessed on the basis of our ability to promote the new system and out of our way of advance the new system is called the throat. The thing is that the new system allows online customers throughout the process, so we are told to tell the caller to call out of us. The company wants to reduce costs and redundancies. I never signed a new contract and that was not part of the original work Discription. The union we work with is useless. Is this legal and we can defend ourselves (not being fired, but of being forced to sell) Thanks
If you have followed working for your employer for months after receiving notification of the change in your job description, then be deemed to have accepted the changes. I'm afraid that your only option is to follow as things or look for another job.
1 minute that will change your Life!
