Life Insurance Underwriter Jobs
Please Help Me, about my education?
Have I really messed my life? I received my BA in Psychology from the University Pittsburgh and then to get my MBA from Capella University, due to having to work full time and could not re-locate. It has been almost 3 years Capella I started and did not have such a bad reputation back then. I am currently working as an assistant to subscribe in an insurance company small. My goal is to become an insurer with a large company. My question is, am I right to attend Capella, and if so, is there anything I can do about it? Should I Back to school? I am looking for serious answers from people who have been in my situation before or who have gone to school and online have received job offers. I've been working as assistant to subscribe for about a year. In the next month or so I wanted to start looking for a new position with a larger company, but I'm afraid to be rejected because of my education options. Any advice?
You ruined. You've lost money and most importantly, time. But it is never too late. Cut your losses and learn from their mistakes. Instead of getting an MBA generic, look for (legitimate) schools offering MS degrees in insurance or risk management. For now, I'm sure there are some schools that offer the true extent partly or entirely online. http://www.aiutruth.com look at this site site and read this message. Eloqent diatribe is the most I've seen on the topic of online schools expect [you can find the original post here: [http://answers.yahoo.com/quest …………. The following was written by "Doctor Search" (not me) As someone who is responsible for hiring people in my Fortune 100 company, I can honestly say that all CVs sporting a degree in the line comes in the "circular", regardless of their other qualifications. I have my MBA from a traditional school, and shortly after I graduated and continuously until today, I have been requested by the UOP to teach courses in business line for them. Although I have several years of work experience (he did not know), who apparently was qualified simply because they bought a mailing list of graduates from my school and saw that there was a degree. Not that the teachers are Ph.D. professors better because some of mine really sucked as communicators, but people that question with limited work and educational experience to teach students shows a lack of concern for the quality of education, and more about getting an instructor at a cheap price. Please believe me, check out the career section of the site UOP or other job boards and see the low levels they set for educators. (see announcement below) to obtain real degree tells me that the applicant can make a long-term commitment that requires sacrifice. Classes online are the latest sign of laziness. With all schools that offer real Part-time or evening classes, through the route of the line suggests he is looking for the easiest way out. Most employers in reputable companies, including myself, will have a chance. Finally, be prepared for ridicule, either publicly, or more likely, behind his back by his teammates Working with royal titles
