Life Insurance Without Physical

Gay male moving back to Michigan with HIV?
I’m a 48 yr old gay male who has had HIV for 10 yrs, but am in good physical conditon. Thanks to early detection, available meds that worked for me, and good medical insurance from a good paying job, I was able to continue working and living a healthy active life. I’ve never been sick a day.
As I get older, I want to move back to Michigan to be close to family. I have a few friends in Los Angeles, but it’s not the same as family.
The problem? I have this fear that the office job I get in Michigan may not have as good medical insurance which will not pay for the meds, and I’ll start deteriorating. Without insurance, the meds cost $1,000 per mo. My family has never known that I have HIV. This fear has kept me from moving home for the last 5 years. Fear.
I feel homesick. Any ideas or suggestions would be appreciated.
Check with the Michigan department of Insurence to find out what HIV medications are on the state formulary list. This information MUST be made public as part of federal HIPPA laws.
Also, check with major insurence carriers as to what medications they usually cover in that state.
Also, check potential employers. Find out what type of insurence coverage is offered BEFORE accepting a job offer.
