Liverpool Victoria Car Insurance
Insurance Vs Solicitors – Two different stories!?
Basically I was involved in a car accident, the third party insurers sent me a letter accepting fault, when my solicitor talked to them they wouldnt admit liability.
The third party insurers have just been taken over by LV (Liverpool Victoria), it seems their still merging their systems as they use two different references for the incident.
I phoned the insurers today to ask whether they were admitting fault or not (the letter stated they did) as they were denying admitting fault to my solicitors, I was told by the man I talked to as their was a solicitor involved legally I shouldnt be talking directly to them. Is this the case and how else am I going to get this crap sorted?!
If you have an attorney- the insurance company won’t talk to you. Once you hire an attorney, you give up the right to communicate directly with the insurance company and transfer that right to the lawyer you hired.
It does not matter if they say “yes, we accepted fault”. Once you are done treating, your attorney will send them a settlement package. If they are denying the claim, they will offer you nothing.
You’re getting hung up on semantics.
