lloyds car insurance?
ive just bought a new car and am wondering if its possible to transfer my old car insurance to this new car? or do i have to cancel that policy and make a new one? will there be any extra costs if i can transfer etc. any advice appreciated xx
You can transfer the policy over, and yes there will be more to pay.
If you cancel the policy, you will lose 1 year NCD. (because you didn’t pay for a full year)
There is often an admin fee to pay to change details, but this may be offset by a cheaper car to insure.
You should get the insurance sorted first thing monday morning as you don’t want to leave your new car uninsured incase it gets damaged.
