Sales jobs can offer good wages, especially if it combined with commission based pay rates and raises, although they are usually not always guaranteed, and work schedules can change constantly. Employees must believe that good performance will not lead to negative consequences. Unfortunately, this is a likely consequence of commission plans. Employment has risen in several service providing industries but has changed little in the goods producing industries. In terms of specific industries, employment has grown in health care, financial activities, credit intermediation, insurance, securities, commodity contracts and investments.

What’s a better way?
I am always on the internet searching for jobs online. To me, this used to seem like the easy way because I could search so many jobs that I actually see hiring comapred to going out looking for some random job that I don’t know if they are hiring or not nor do I know upfront what positions to apply for. There are no real jobs hiring where I live. I am talking about real career jobs in my field of study and not some common everyday J.O.B (just over broke). I am getting my Associates in Business Administration real soon. I am looking for entry level work at the moment to get my start, but they are all commission based sales jobs. I don’t want that, especially those jobs selling life insurance where I am trying to survive off on commission.
Commission based jobs can actually be a blessing. If you work hard, you will get paid well. It’s nice to have control over your pay, instead of it being in strictly your boss’ hands.
Since you’re having such a hard time finding jobs in your area, maybe you should consider relocating. Many times, you can find employers that will help out with the associated costs of moving.
