Suspended License in WA, no longer live there really want WA to license back?
My license was suspended for DUI in Washington for four years. I've lived in Arizona for the past two years, and do not live or drive in Washington. The suspension period has expired, but I'm waiting for "clearance" Washington state. I have insurance in Arizona and the proof and faxed to the court in Washington. The problem is that now they are saying they need proof that I am Washington also insured. My insurance company says I can not do this since I neither live nor the unit in Washington. I think someone is giving me information incorrect. Does anyone in the WA Court or the licensing office or has been through this? Why are they asking for insurance in a state that no longer I who live, or driving?
